Which rate within this range applies to you only emerges from the assessment of your credit capacity and creditworthiness. A best rate cannot seriously be promised without that assessment.

3. Who can apply for a loan?

Requirements

  • Residence in Switzerland
  • Employment as an employee (income from salaried employment)
  • Swiss citizenship or residence permit B or C
  • Legal age (18 years)

Not possible

  • Self-employed and freelance workers
  • People without earned income
  • Residence abroad, residence categories other than B or C
  • Business loans — for companies there is the separate offer SME financing

We say this openly because it saves both sides time. The requirements are the condition for an assessment, not for approval: every application is assessed individually.

4. How does the application work?

  1. Complete the application — online and without obligation.
  2. Provisional decision — usually within around 3 minutes. It is not yet a credit commitment.
  3. Final assessment — your details and documents are assessed in full. With KKG loans the credit capacity assessment is required by law; it assumes repayment within 36 months.
  4. Offer and contract — you receive an individual offer showing your annual percentage rate, your monthly instalment and the total costs.

With a KKG contract the withdrawal period is 14 days from receipt of the copy of the contract. Details: Online loan: application, assessment, payout.

5. What does a loan cost?

The annual percentage rate contains all costs of the loan and is the central standardised basis for comparison. In addition, compare the term, the monthly instalment and the total amount.

Two ways to see the figure for your situation:

The representative example is shown under “Mandatory information”.

6. Which rights do you have as a borrower?

For loans that are subject to the KKG, the following apply among others:

  • Withdrawal from KKG contracts — within 14 days of receiving the copy of the contract, without giving reasons.
  • Early repayment — possible at any time; you do not pay interest for the part of the term you no longer use.
  • Protection against over-indebtedness — the credit capacity assessment is a duty of the lender. Granting credit is prohibited if it leads to the over-indebtedness of the consumer. The German version of this notice is legally binding.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to state what I need the loan for?

No. The consumer loan from eny Credit is not tied to a specific purpose. The intended use is not a criterion in the assessment.

How high is the interest rate at eny Credit?

The annual percentage rate is between 4.90 % and 9.90 %. The rate for your contract is set individually after the assessment of your credit capacity and creditworthiness. No rate can be promised in advance.

How much can I borrow?

CHF 1'000 to CHF 250'000 are possible. How much of that is affordable for you is shown by the credit capacity assessment: income, fixed expenses and existing commitments are decisive.

Can I get a loan if I am self-employed?

No. eny Credit grants consumer loans to employed staff resident in Switzerland. For companies there is SME financing.

Can I repay my loan early?

With a KKG contract, yes, at any time. Other loan amounts are governed by the contractual terms.

Who is the lender?

The lender behind eny Credit is eny Finance AG, domiciled in Zurich. At the same time, eny Finance AG reserves the right to pass applications on to credit partners as a credit intermediary within the meaning of the Swiss Consumer Credit Act (KKG).

Can I have several loans at the same time?

Existing loans are included in the credit capacity assessment and reduce the affordable amount. Combining them is often the cheaper route: Refinancing: replacing an existing loan.
